MDU Result

Maharishi Dayanand University is a located in Rohtak, Haryana. It came into existence in the year 1975 through Haryana Legislative Assembly by the name Rohtak University. It was established in 1976 after the name of Saint Dayanand Saraswati and was ultimately named Maharshi Dayanand University. It was made for encouraging higher education and research in fields of environmental and life sciences. Today it has grown to 13 facilities, 27 postgraduate departments and 77 theoretical courses on campus. The MDU Result for all the different courses are announced twice during a financial year. After declaration of MDU Result students check their result on the official website of MDU that is http://www.mdurohtak.ac.in/. It also has a satellite campus in University Institute of Law & Management Studies (UILMS) at Gurgaon. It has been certified “A” rating NY NAAC in August 2013.

The university is about 47 miles from national capital Delhi on the Delhi-Hisar National. The University Campus has a stout Campus Wide Network. It is enclosed everywhere with OFC and Wi-Fi technologies. All the departments are connected to the Campus Network. The University has a Computer Centre for the benefit of students, research scholars, teachers and other staff. The students and teachers are well aware about the MDU Exam and MDU Result procedure. Bachelor of Architecture :

Bachelor of Architecture, B. Arch is a five year undergraduate course in Architecture, plan and assembly of construction with the ecological, sociological, organized and aspects. The course requires skills like drawing, writing, investigation of the topic, practical and management ability in solving problems etc. The course includes subjects like Mathematics, CADD, Urban Economics and Sociology History of Architecture and Interior Design etc.

In B.Arch each academic year is divided into two semesters, each semester being 5-6 months long. The odd semester is conducted from August to December and even semesters from January to May.

Eligibility:

A applicant for B.Arch must fulfill the following requirements:

(a) He/She must have passed in 10+2 examination of Haryana Board or from a recognized Board/university with Mathematics and must have obtained at least 50% marks

(b) For students migrating from other universities admission is only allowed in the beginning of the term to the candidates who are permitted to migrate to the University carrying a certificate to prove the same.

Examinations:

Examinations are conducted at the end of each semester except in case of the seventh semester throughout which there is a 24 weeks of practical training. The examination for all semesters are normally conducted in December/January and May/June.

The exams comprises of:

(a) Theory papers – The paper is set by any faculty from within the university

(b) Sessional – Sessional for all the subjects are assessed by the subject teachers by the assignments done throughout the semester.

(c) Portfolio – For the subjects conducted in the Workshop requiring drawing work no theory exam is conducted. The assignment done in these subjects during the semester is evaluated by internal/external examiner. The assignments are presented as a portfolio and they are evaluated through viva.

(d) Thesis – Every student is required to prepare a thesis under the supervision of a mentor on a topic approved by the Head of Department of B. Arch. of the college. The thesis is submitted in the form of Research, Report, Drawings, Models etc.

(e) Practical Training – During the 9th and 10th semester the students undergo practical training of 12 months. The students are required to submit copies of demonstrative work done in the pratical training.

Result:

MDU Result of B.Arch is generally displayed on MDU’s official website. The results are announced after 3 months of conduction of exam. For an odd semester, the examination are conducted in December/January and for an even semester, the examinations are conducted in May/June. So the MDU result for odd semester is announced in the month of April/May and for even semester it is announced in the month of September.

Bachelor of Engineering:

The Bachelor of Technology abbreviated as B.Tech an undergraduate academic degree issued after completion of four-year program of studies at an accredited university or accredited university-level institution.

Many colleges affiliated to MDU offer B.Tech. B.Tech degree is offered in following trades:

Each academic year of Bachelor of Technology is divided into two semesters, each semester being 24 weeks long. The odd semester is conducted from August to December and even semesters from January to May. The MDU Result is out in the Month of April and September for Bachelor of Technology.

  1. Theory papers – The paper is 100 marks paper consisting of 5 questions carrying 20 marks each. The first question is subdivided into 10 questions of 2 mark each. The remaining 4 questions are section-wise. Each section has 2-3 questions for choice. The exam is given on 36 sheet paper. For scoring good marks the aspirant should solve the questions strategically.
  2. Sessional – Sessional for all the subjects are assessed by the subject teachers by the assignments done throughout the semester. 50 mark question paper is set.
  3. Industrial Training – During the 8th semester the students undergo industrial training of 6 months. The students can take internship as well. At the end of the semester they are required to present the working project they made during the training.

Result:

MDU Result of B.Tech is generally displayed on MDU’s official website. MDU result are announced after 3 months of conduction of exam. For an odd semester, the examination are conducted in December/January and for an even semester, the examinations are conducted in May/June. So the MDU result for odd semester is announced in the month of April/May and for even semester it is announced in the month of September. The final marksheet of MDU result is deduced from the marks obtained in both sessional and theory exams.

  1. Go to http://www.mdurohtak.ac.in/
  2. On your right hand side you’ll see an Examinations tab under which datasheet is listed at 3\4 position.
  3. You are then given a page which has all the datasheets listed for various degree exams.
  4. Select your course and you’ll get a PDF with a datasheet of your course.
  5. You can save the datasheet by right-clicking on it or press Ctrl+S.

To check your MDU Result follow the easy steps listed below.

  1. Go to http://www.mdurohtak.ac.in/
  2. On your right hand side you’ll see an Examinations tab under which Result is listed at 5th position.
  3. You are now redirected to a new page having a simple form with two fields.
  4. Fill in your registration number and your MDU exam roll number.
  5. Click on proceed now and you’ll be asked to fill a few details like email id and phone number.
  6. Fill in the details and click on view.
  7. Your MDU result it here.
